Bellwood Foundation Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

As an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) the BASD foundation may accept Educational Tax Credit donations for the purpose of funding innovative educational programs.  An "innovative educational program" is an advanced academic or similar program that is not part of the regular academic program of a public school but enhances the curriculum or academic program of the public school.

Through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, eligible businesses can receive tax credits equal to 75% of their contribution, up to $750,000 per taxable year.  The tax credit may be increased to 90% of the contribution if the business agrees to provide the same amount for two consecutive tax years.  The EITC program makes it possible for businesses to direct tax dollars toward the education of Bellwood-Antis students making a direct impact on our community.

Pennsylvania businesses can begin applying for EITC credits through PA Department of Community and Economic Developments (DCED) electronic single application system.
