On behalf of the Relay For Life of Northern Blair County, I would like to invite all of you to this year’s Relay For Life. The Relay will be held at BA’s Memorial Stadium from noon to noon on June 18 and 19. This year’s ambassador is Bellwood-Antis school nurse Mary Saylor. Please come out to support Mary and the fight against cancer. The Relay will kick off at noon on Friday with the “Fight Back” ceremony; this ceremony will include the BA band and cheerleaders. The survivor dinner is at 6:30pm, entertainment will begin at 7:30pm, followed by the evening ceremony beginning at 8:00. During the evening ceremony we will “Celebrate” survivors and “Remember” those who have lost the battle against cancer. Team members will be walking during the 24 hour period, except during the ceremonies, everyone is welcome to come join them!
If you are a survivor, or know a survivor, please encourage him or her to attend the dinner and participate in the survivor lap during the evening ceremony. Survivors can register on the day of Relay at the big tent.
