Dr. Brian Toth, Bellwood-Antis School District Superintendent, Lisa Hartsock, Vice Principal of Students K-12, and Mike Turek of the Lions Sight Conservation Foundation of Blair County, look on as 4th grade student Emily Pielmeier gets her vision screened on the School’s new vision screening machine. The Foundation bought and donated the new vision screening machine to the Myer’s Elementary School in May 2010. The Foundation adopted the project of prevention of blindness and conservation of sight in 1927. Though their efforts, the Foundation has helped many, over the years, with obtaining eye glasses and donations of screening machines to many school districts.
